The Case Challenge revolved around Altitude Ascend, a prominent skydiving company in India, which faced stagnating growth due to increased competition and market saturation. Participants were tasked with developing strategies to enhance the company's operations, identify new locations for expansion, and improve its online presence to boost customer engagement. The challenge aimed to equip Altitude Ascend with a robust go-to-market strategy and effective HR initiatives to maintain its competitive edge in the adventure sports industry. The Finale round was a Boardroom challenge in which we were asked to bid for a set of products using a virtual valuation points given to each team and finally come up with a GTM strategy for any of the 2 products that you win in your bidding round. The deck for both the rounds have been shown below.

Problem Statement:

To maintain its competitive edge and propel growth, Altitude Ascend needs a robust go-to-market strategy for expansion and strategic HR initiatives to address staffing challenges and retain talent amidst intensified competition in the adventure sports industry.

Key Objectives:

Initial Round:

  1. Identify and prioritize three new potential locations for skydiving operations in India based on tourist footfall, regulatory approvals, and market demand.

  2. Enhance Altitude Ascend's online presence through website upgrades, mobile app launch, and social media strategies to improve customer engagement by 30% within a year.

  3. Develop HR strategies to retain talent and facilitate the development of an agile workforce that can adapt to market changes and technological advancements.

Final Round:

  1. Bidding round for products being displayed on the screen using virtual valuation points given to each team

  2. Out of the products we won in the bidding round, we were asked to choose any 2 products, innovate a new product and provide a GTM strategy.
