The Futureforce Case Challenge gave us an incredible platform to apply our academic skills to real-world business challenges. It’s a chance to showcase our problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking in a competitive environment. The challenge focuses on Salesforce’s impact in the rapidly expanding Customer Relationship Management (CRM) market, especially in India. Our task is to conduct a competitor analysis of Salesforce within the Indian market and come up with an innovative Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for a specific industry. This required us to tackle unique industry challenges and demonstrate how Salesforce’s solutions can stay a competitive leader in this ever evolving market landscape.​

Problem Statement:

  • Conduct a competitor analysis of Salesforce within the Indian CRM market, focusing on small and large businesses.

  • Develop an innovative Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for a specific industry.

Deliverables:

  1. Competitor Analysis: Evaluate Salesforce's positioning against competitors in the SMB and large enterprise spaces, considering pricing, solution depth, scalability, product robustness, innovation, and branding.

  2. GTM Strategy: Create a GTM strategy for one industry (e.g., High Tech, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Public Sector, Healthcare, or Retail), addressing industry-specific challenges and showcasing how Salesforce’s solutions support that sector
