The Pidilite Case Challenge asked us to develop innovative, actionable solutions to scale up Fevicol Relam, a product designed to simplify furniture renovation by allowing new laminate to be directly pasted over old laminate. We were tasked with overcoming the challenges of raising awareness about this new product among key stakeholders, such as woodworking contractors, homeowners, and dealers. Our goal was to craft a marketing plan to drive product adoption and unlock new growth opportunities for Fevicol Relam in the renovation market​

Problem Statement:

We were tasked with creating a strategy to scale up Fevicol Relam by addressing awareness gaps among key stakeholders (woodworking contractors, homeowners, and dealers) and encouraging the use of this product for furniture renovation, which allows new laminate to be directly pasted over old laminate, avoiding the messy and cumbersome traditional methods.

Deliverables:

  1. Market Opportunity Sizing: Estimate the market potential for Fevicol Relam.

  2. Marketing Plan:

    • Develop a value proposition for each of the three stakeholders (contractors, homeowners, dealers).

    • Identify communication mediums.

    • Formulate a communication strategy and approach.

  3. Additional Opportunities: Propose any further ideas or opportunities for Fevicol Relam’s growth​
